Rémi spent a decade building in tech. Started a local office from scratch, grew it to 45 people, hit the numbers. From the outside, it looked like success.
On the inside: depressed, chronic pain, short-tempered, panic attacks. He burned out.
With little self-reflection he convinced himself that the problem was what he was doing. He changed career to live performance and things got worse. He was unequipped.
After hitting rock bottom, he searched: ashtanga, journaling, silent retreats, anything that might help him understand what had gone wrong.
Then luck. When traveling, someone stopped him on the street for a breath session. He almost kept walking but went anyway and experienced an undeniable physical and mental shift: clear, present, regulated. He went back every day after that.

Over seven years and 2100+ hours he trained, researched, facilitated, and stress-tested everything he learned. The more he understood, the clearer it became: one tool inside a much larger toolbox.
He went back into corporate. This time leading eight people with a P&L 35% in the red. He didn’t turn it around through strategy alone. He turned it around by helping people, including himself, operate from a different physiological state.

Most people have no idea what state they are in until it is too late. Noticing is the skill of detecting subtle shifts in your internal landscape: how activated am I right now? How is that level of activation shaping what I can think, create, decide, and who I can be? Your level of arousal determines what you can and cannot access. Noticing is the first move-everything else builds on it.
There is no bad state-only being in the wrong state at the wrong time. Paralysis before a presentation. Racing thoughts when sleep is needed. Flat energy when your team needs fire. Shifting is the ability to move deliberately between states so you are never stuck. Not suppressing what you feel-steering it.
